As a guest speaker and music hall historian, Duggie's one man presentations have had great success at the Grand Theatre Blackpool on 3 occasions and at the Mananan Arts Festival in Port Erin IOM, the Bute Fest in Rothesay, Heritage Festival Morcambe, Thomson Cruise Lines, Blackpool Magicians International Cnference, NODA Conference Leicester, and Arts Centres throughout the British Isles.
